Hey...I was trying to change my headlight bulbs, but I can't seem to fully take out the headlight assembly. I took out the two screws and basically the thing comes out, except for the part where there's supposed to be some sort of pin that holds the assembly in place? Where is this pin and what does it look like. Any ideas will help. If you have pictures that would greatly help. Thank you very much.

There is a little ball and socket on the outer edge of each assembly. It will be where the assembly meets the side of the bodywork. It takes a tug to get it out. You can probably change the bulbs without removing it, though.

I never noticed such a thing when I removed my headlights oddly enough? I just removed those two screws and pulled straight out. Maybe I do have it and just never noticed it. (knowing me I probably just didn't notice.) mrmatharu, were you able to get the headlight out successfuly?
Oh, and welcome aboard to the ACNA!

Hey guys...I appreciate the welcome very much. So this ball and socket, is it white by any chance, because I did see something like that. It looks like an arrow that has been pushed throught the metal?

The white arrow thing is the socket. The ball is on the headlight assembly. Sometimes the whole thing just pulls out, but the white part is *supposed* to stay in. Either way is no biggie, it'll go right back in. Actually, if the arrow pulls out, it's easier than clicking the ball/socket back in.

So are you sayin to just pull really hard on the assembly and it should come off? Cause I tried pretty hard to pull on it and it didn't seem to budge. The only difference I can think is that I didn't really try to pull on it straight out. I kinda pulled it at a diagonal, but is that the way to go?

Or just that it won't detach from the car. When you pull those two bolts out, you should be able to easily move the headlight around out of it's original position. If it hasn't moved at all, maybe you missed one of the bolts.

Hey..the assembly has completely detached by taking the screws out, but I was told there is some kind of ball and socket set up. I see the white arrow type thing that seems to be the ball and socket connection, but I cant seem to get it out of that. The ball and socket is the only thing now holding the assembly to the car. Everything else is fine.

You need to upload the image you have to a hosting site first, like photobucket.com (free). Then take the URL of the photo (image.jpg for example) and place it within [ img ] tags like this, but without the spaces: [ img ] image.jpg [ /img ]
