NO! Do not even utter the words sony! *shudders*. I sent you a link to something that is eaisly in your price range and would sound GREAT! www.cardomain.com/item/INFKAPPA6525I?vq_id=nonecheck there. I am not just blowing smoke! Those speakers are usually nearly $200 but are that cheap because the new models just came out so they're trying to get rid of the old models! Look at the reviews for those as well. Please consider these speakers! Bass won't be awesome but sound quality will be. They put out decent enough bass, don't get me wrong, but that is not their strong point, great sound quality however is!

those infinities are for the front doors. Polks are o.k. not the sound quality of Infinity still. They're more of a punchy bassy speaker. they're not bad, no. Then again, I don't know what kind of sound you're looking for?

I am looking for a lot of bass, and some decent (better than stock) midranges and highs.

BA...i mean do the Rockford Fosgates you have for the front doors sound really good? I dont give a darn how hard they are to fit, as I am not doing it. Thats what pros are for..hehe. Couldnt care how much installation extra is either. Anyway the review the Rockfords got was horrible on Crutchfield and Epinions. I am shifiting towards the Sony speakers or the Polk Audio ones for 219.99....I will not go for the Boston Acoustics for 349.99. You know what...the hell with it i may just ship these back and just test out the friggin head unit first. At least it will play CD's. I cant play a darn thing right now. Im glad the trip to Carlisle was easy and fast, or I would have been Road Rage for sure. Want you could do, is go to the audio place you don't plan to have install your audio and say your not sure of what speakers to get and see if there's anyway you could listen to a few. After you listen to a few, say o.k. thanks, lemme go to the bank and make sure everythings alright and I'll be right back. And never go back there. Or go to a Best Buy and crank up the ones on the floor. Even go and ask a sales guy how to work the buttons. The car guys there are usually more then willing to help you out.
