Thanks Elan...hehe. What a difference from stock though...what a difference. I hear so many things now that i NEVER heard before. My computer speakers (5.1 surround THX certified logitech z-5300e) were better than my car before.

glad you enjoy it! Just make sure to remove that face plate on your cd player everytime you leave the car. It's a pain, but atleast it wont' be stolen..

It says that whenever you shut the car off. I wont be removing it every time, but whenever i go in store for more than 3 or 4 minutes. Usually i just run in, run out and go back home.

where did you get it installed at? just curious. so, how is the bass response on those front speakers compared to your 6x9's? Even with aftermarket speakers up front the 6x9's sound much better (both are aftermarket) because the door panel leaks so much air. Polk is a good brand though. nice choies:) that cd player looks great! Love the blue look.

Sweet! Now when you want to save the wear and tear on your drivetrain, you can just crank up some sound clips of my car accelerating! Ha ha, just kidding!!

Yep got 94 songs on a MP3 cd right now. I dont even drive far enough to listen to 3 or 4 of them though. Have them in different folders helps though.

don't ya love bein' able to put mp3's on a cd instead of only havin' 15-20 songs? i think the most i had on a cd before was 110 songs or somewhere around that.

Wow Steven, lookin' good! How much audio stuff did you order, and then return to Crutchfield before finally keeping this setup? Did you install yourself or have a shop do the work?

I only ordered the 5 1/4 components and shipped them back in exchange for the $58 more Polk Audio 6.75"s. Im sure there is a big difference. However most of the bass comes from the rear anyway -- which I am about to blow out soon...lol.
Nah man i got shop to do it for $200....i cant be assed to spend a whole day or 2 to save a couple hundred bucks.
I really like the Customize feature it has man. I put images of Aurora pace cars and stuff to randomly display 10 of them while playing music. How dumb of me -- i shouldve gotten this before Carlisle. I had nothing to listen the entire way up and back.
Only thing i dont like is I often go to reach for the steering wheel controls and after holding down for a few seconds and wondering why the hell it wont go down -- i have to turn the knob or use the remote. Tried velcro the remote to the steering wheel but it comes off. Oh well. aint worth a $60 harness.
