I have a 95 aurora and once in a while the parking brake will come on and the car will start beeping. When I turn the car off it resets but will come on again later at intermittant periods. Sometimes it will go off while I am driving after it comes on. I was wondering if there was a fix for this or someway to disable this? Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks

This is just a guess. The parking brake light switch might be bad. There could be an intermittent short there which could cause the warning light to go on & off by itself.

Thats what it sounds like, or the parking brake pedal is not returning far enough to close the switch completely - setting it off and on.

In any event, I'm willing to bet the actual BRAKE is not engaging... your car just thinks it is, because of whatever electrical gremlin is running around. Try to follow any wiring you can see, from the area of your parking brake pedal up into the dash. There might be some rubbing or a stripped wire that is causing the short.
