Sometimes when I put the key in the ignition and try to start it the car signals, lights and chimes flicker or doesn't do anything at all. Almost as if the battery is dead, but it's not. I have to shake the back seat or move the battery around to start the car. Any ideas anyone? I am tired of lifting the back seat and want to fix it myself if possible!

clean and tighten battery connections. If you've already done that then it's possible that the battery has an internal failure or the posative connection to the main fuse block is loose.

You might stop by Auto Zone or Discount and have the battery tested to see if it might have a problem, they'll do it for free and then you'll be able to eliminate that possibility.

Sounds like the ground on the battery has come loose. Check the connections on the battery and the place where it is ground to on the chasis.
