I got a sunroof motor off eBay and tried installing it and it still didnt work. what do you guys think could be the problem? when i push the sunroof control on the headliner i get nothing. i got the headliner down, swapped the motor and still nothing. i checked the remote on the headliner where the control for the sunroof is located and when i popped off the lense for the lights and checked the button it seems that the three wires going straight into where the button is, is burned a little. looks like the plastic around the wire just burned it a tiny. it doesnt look bad but it could be a problem. im not sure what i can do about that myself. i could just clip the wires where its burned and reseat them back into the button but it looks like its saudered into a circuit board if im not mistaken. so not sure if its that or something else. any suggestions?

Sounds like it's time to bust out the multimeter and start tracing wires Good luck. -Shawn

Get the shop manuals. Get the multimeter and start finding the problem. You can do it!

Get a meter if you don't have one and start checking the wires, motor, and the switch, as others have already suggested. It could be a bad switch or it could just be bad wiring which the Aurora seems to have its fair share of.
