ok i finely got another factory cd player. i got it because my Tape player in my other one broke (i use the Tape player to hock up my mp3 player) I bought it from a salvage yard for $85.00 including S&H. when i plugged it in it showed LOC so i emailed the salvage yard and the gave the VIN # and told me to call the dealer but they want to charge me. does anybody know of a free or really cheap way to get past this? I took the tape section out of my new one and put into my old one and it works but i would still like to have the code if the cd part of my old one goes bad

I beleive the dealer way is about the only way. Otherwise, if there were an easy way, it wouldn't be a theft-deterrent.
