On the front bumper of the 2001+ on the sides there are orange lenses that look like they should be turn signals. Only thing though, is that they do not light up. (with either parking lights on, or with the turn signal actually on.) Just wondering if these are supposed to be turn signals or not as mine do not light up.

I'm pretty sure they should light up... I can go confirm that though.

also noticed that the rear red lenses of the back bumper also do not light up on the sides with parking lights.. It'd be wierd to have the lights out on all four corners wouldn't it? lol. Guess I'll have to go out and see if they have bulbs or not in the back. Thanks for the help. If you do notice yours working let me know.

The yellow side markers on the front half do light up. The red markers on the back half do not, I believe they are just reflectors.

Thanks. looks like I have quite a few burned out lights that I need to attend to. Seems the dealer would have checked that out before selling the car. Yeah, I too was under that mistaken impression of the small dealer where I bought my Aurora... the week I got it home I had to replace one fog light bulb, my center console bulb, a rear registration bulb, and the bulb under my gearshift selector (which I found out still doesn't work... bad wiring I suppose). If you're close to your dealer and they were nice to deal with when you bought yours, this is another service that I would return the car to have done. It'll save you a few bucks and potentially busted knuckles.

I believe the front yellow or orange lenses on the side of the bumpers are reflectors as mine did not light up when the car was new. Dealer said these are reflectors. Sounded odd to me too??
The red lenses in the rear bumper are "rear fog lights" that are turned on by turning the front fog light switch forward one more notch. They serve a purpose by being an additional tail light in foggy conditions.

The yellow on the front bumper do light up for sure. Check the bulbs.
