Had this problem myself. The air induction system is simply an airpump that helps the Aurora qualify as an low emissions vehicle. Here is a possible fix: Use ramps or jack stands to elevate the front of the car. Make sure your Aurora is lifted securely. Disconnect the battery located under the rear seat. The pump is located right under the front bumper splash shield on the driver's side. It looks like a coffee can with two rubber hoses and a wire harness. The harness plug is poorly designed, where dirt/moisture can get in, making it possible for the pump to loose power and set off the check engine light. Clean the connector with a small wire brush, re-connect and insulate with electrical tape. Reconnect the battery. Reassemble the front end, lower the car. Turn on the engine, the check engine light should be gone ;D

I had this problem a couple of months ago and followed the troubleshooting charts. It came down to the secondary air injection valve located on the passenger side of the engine was faulty. The part is different for each side of the engine. Replacement is a pain and the space is fairly tight, but I had it done in under two hours. After replacing the valve the error code cleared and I haven't had a check engine light since.
