I have 2 bulbs out in my steering wheel as well as one in the seat heat button. What bulbs do I need?

kobalt....I looked at the 2001 shop manual about this. The manual doesn't mention any bulbs for these switches. These switches probably have LEDs that are part of the switches. _________________ GM!!! BRING BACK OLDS!!!

Yup - the bulbs are not-serviceable
You have to buy the whole assembly in both cases. The steering wheel one is about $ 50 CDN (35 US) - I am not sure about the seat warmer one (had it replaced under warranty)
Theorectically the bulbs are replaceable but will take a soldering iron, tweezers, patience, and 20-year-old eyes - in short not worth it
GM passes on the savings from outsourcing a whole module (switch and lights) assembled in Taiwan to us...as an expense

I have 3 bulbs out in my steering wheel - $105? How do they say it? It's not economically viable!

On the 2001 Auroras, the rocker switch contains 2 lights - it all comes as one unit - you get a new switch and 2 bulbs at once

I obtained GM replacements, both for less than $50 including shipping, at www.buy-oem-parts.com/. Perform a search on year, make & model, then use "steering wheel" as your keyword.
