Hi we are the proud new owners of a 1995 aurora autobahn edition. This may sound stupid but we cant get the interior lights to come on by opening any of the doors or by turning the dimmer all the way up till it clicks. The only eay they will come on is to push the little buttons on the lights themselves. Any idea's as to where to start checking? We have only had the car for 4 days so I have not got a service manual yet and not quite sure where everything is located yet.... Thanks ;D

First of all, welcome! Congrats on the recent edition I believe the info below will help, but will double check when I get in the car tomorrow. About your lights, I believe that you should have a knob on the left side of the steering wheel (on the dash itself). I forget what the name of the knob actually is, but it is the leftmost knob (should be two on that side). You can adjust that knob for the sensitivity of the lights. I believe that will solve your problem. Hope this helps ;D

The left most knob (or roll switch) controls the dash light intensity and if rolled all the way forward it clicks like its supposed to turn the inside lights on but nothing comes on the dash lights work fine but the inside dome lights will not come on either by the left dash switch or by opening the doors.

Have you checked the dome light bulb?

all the bulbs work if turned on by the switch on the light itself.. trying to turn them on by the dash switch or them lighting when the doors are opened none come on.
