The other day I took the advice of the sidewall tire pressure and filled it up to 42 lb. I have the 17 chromes on my 3,5. After I did this I have been getting the indication of Low Tire Pressure. I reduced the tire pressure to the indicated amount on drivers door jamb which is 32 so I will see if that works---anybody else had this problem?

if the tire pressure of any tire changes by more than 7 PSI I believe it is since the last reset in comparison to the other three tires, you will get the "low tire pressure" warning. It just monitors if one wheel is spinning significanly slower than the other three. This is how it determines that the pressure is low in that tire. Make sure all tires are the same PSI, then hold the reset button to reset the warning.

One, you have to reset the car when you change the pressures. And two, that's not advice stamped on the sidewall, that's the maximum pressure it can take.

Yeah, what he said. 32 psi is the tire pressure you should be using... if you keep your tires inflated at their maximum pressure (42 psi in this case), the result will be reduced traction and uneven wear.

Thanks guys, reset pressure to 32 psi--smoother ride. I also read the manual and reset the DIC. Problem solved--should have pulled the manual!
