I have checked so many threads to see if this was posted and I cant seem to find anything. Can you tell if you have the autobahn package from your vin numbers? For some reason I want to say that 9 meant that you did but my VIN has two nines around the 8 position and maybe 16th? Any help?

MEANING OF AURORA VIN 1995-1999:
1 = Built in U.S. G = General Motors 3 = Oldsmobile GR = Aurora
6 = Four door/Sedan 2 = Active (Manual) Belts with Drivers and Passenger Inflatable Restraint System C = 4.0 liter displacement/ Eight Cylinder, U.S. Built Engine X = Check Digit
X = Model Year 4 = Lake Orion, MI XXXXXX = Production Sequence Number - The Xs at the end are particular to your Aurora and are in sequence (1G3GR62C X X X X X X X X X)
MEANING OF AURORA VIN 2001:
1 = Built in U.S. G = General Motors 3 = Oldsmobile GR = Aurora 3.5, GS = Aurora 4.0
6 = Four door/Sedan 4 = ? Maybe 4 Air Bags ? 2001 has side air bags C = C = 4.0 V8 H = 3.5 V6 X = Check Digit
1 = 2001 Model Year 4 = Lake Orion, MI XXXXXX = Production Sequence Number
There was a large jump in mid July from 13XXXX to 14XXXX which may be the change to the "true" 2001 model year.
Just incase you wanted them anyway. I'm sure 2001 applies to 01-03
