About 30secs. after I start my car there is a humming sound that last for 3sec. or so. It sounds like it's coming from under the the rear seat area. Is this normal? Is it the fuel pump making the sound?

That's the ride height pump. If you don't hear it much later, that's pretty normal.

Does the ground clearance adjust when you park it?

the ride height will adjust if the level is stationary for a period of time (several seconds) and the height is outside the range the system considers acceptable. The system may leak a little such that when parked for a period of time, it needs to pump some air in the next time you start it. That's not uncommon.

Thanks alot for the info. Is it common for the pump needed to run everytime it's parked for about 10 hours or so?

Like I'd said, it's not uncommon. Does it ever run when you come to a stop at a light or anything? If that happens, then it is probably leaking and needs to be fixed.
Of course it will also run if you load the car up, or unload it, since the height needs to be adjusted from previously.
I wouldn't worry if it only comes on when you first start the car.
