The past two days have been extremely warm. I don't know if that's the cause of the problem but, it didn't appear until a few days ago. When I started my car up, everything seemed fine. I then looked over at my fuel range and saw 50 miles. Thinking I was low on fuel I looked at my gauge and found it 3/4s of the way full. I knew exactly that either the range was wrong or the fuel tank gauge was wrong. Suddenly, the 50 turned into --- and I really started worrying. A couple seconds went by and then all the warning lights flashed on for about 2-3 seconds and then went off. I looked at the fuel range and it read 238 miles, which is a standard full tank for my car. It slowly clocked down to 150-180ish; I can't remember exactly. The next day, the fuel range was working but, the warning lights all flashed again for 2-3 seconds. Is their something wrong with the computer? Has anyone had this problem before? Does anyone know any solutions? Thanks in advance.

do the rest of the gauges work ok? the instrument panel could be loose. My car did something similar when the gauges came loose. My gauges would die and all warning lights would turn on, and the DIC would just display ------ across it..

Yea, everything else works. I just had some work done on it. Air pump was replaced and the power steering was flushed. Think it could've came lose during those repairs?

Not likely, but it couldn't hurt to take it back and say, hey, this stuff was working before I brought it in, what did your guys do???

Well, we had to fix a vacuum leak on it. For the check engine light came on. As soon as I get the car back I'll have to take it to the dealer. The computer is acting up and they're the only ones that can fix it. However, I hate the local dealer for the people that work there are a-holes. But, the car needs to be fixed and that's the important part.
