I can't put my finger on when or why...but it seems as though the heat may have had an affect. I get a message about stability system, abs, airbag, the traction control light come on, the stereo goes off and on, and the fuel guage drops to bottom...the lights for security, airbag, traction stay on when it does it.

The only way that you'll get to the bottom of this is to have it scanned for any codes.

i'm a little unsure what the problem is. I just see a list of a bunch of things...what is actually happening and what are you doing when these things happen. little more explanation might help us help u a little better. but as marc said, u should definetly look into getting it scanned

There aren't any codes, and it will just randomly start and stop. It basically starts scrolling the items mentioned above on the display. The stereo will usually go off when it happens, as does the AC. The fuel Gage doesn't register, the electric door locks wont work, the windows wont go down, etc. The largest drivablilty problem with it, is that when it starts, it will continue to do something even when the ignition is off. That generally results in a dead battery. It has spent months in the shop, with no real problem found. I have left the battery disconnected for up to 2 weeks, only to hook it back up to the same problem.

wow.....im completely lost...thats wierd....it almost sounds like something a security system would do to a car if it were malfunctioning.
