Can anyone explain this code to me. Ive got a 2001 aurora 4.0 with 67k on it and its been a good car. the other day the MIL light came on and i hooked my scan tool and pulled code P0741 " torque converter clutch circuit preformance or stuck off" showed. the trans shifts fine, i dont feel any vibrations or hesitations?? what does this code mean and is there any signs that goes along with this code. thanks

According to pg. 7-354 of the 2001 shop manual, DTC PO741 = too much slippage in the torque converter when the torque converter clutch is engaged.

thanks for the info.. i did a bit of reading on google and diddnt find much, but i did read that it could be a bad harness or ground. Is this something i need to get checked out asap??

Get it checked. Too much slippage in the torque converter will cause the transmission to run too hot. Also the extra engine RPMs will eat into gas mileage.
