I am experiencing a flicker in my dash lights? it appears to go out for just a second then comes back on. almost like a blink.
when I say dash lights it is everything DIC, dash ect. the car is running a driving well , but something is not right. is there a main grounding strap that I can check?
any input would be apprciated.

Can you tie the flicker to some cause, such as hitting a bump or when using many electrical accessories (rear defroster, heated seats, etc.)?

Big problem with second-gens. There's a TSB, but GM hasn't released a cause or fix to my knowledge. If you possess a warranty, now would be a good time to use it. A dealer may be able to figure it out. I've experienced it, but only happened 2 or 3 times the summer before last, and hasn't happened since. Nothing has changed on the car to my knowledge...

I thought I read something about this, I just didn't remember where. now I know I probably read it at "alldata"
as far as warranty not any more 99,000 miles on the 2001 and still running strong.
I guess I will just keep an eye on it.

When my dash lights flickered turning the car off, reinserting the key in the igintion and then restarting the engine did the trick.
