Hi Jim, They look great. I happened to see an Aurora heading south on 403 a short while ago, the car looked great, and same colour as yours. It had dual duals on it. I thought what a great look. May even have been you. So I wanted to get it done to me new Aurora '99, and asked my husband to see what he could do for me, plus chrome wheels. I showed him your picture and he likes them...so many thanks. Where would you suggest I can get them in the GTA area. And do you know a good GM dealer in the area I can take my car to for servicing when the time comes. I'll never go back to where I had my servicing done before. I'm in the Mississauga area but I'll drive to where ever I have to to get a good mechanic for this car. Many thanks.

Wouldnt be suprised if it was me, I dont think there are any Auroras in the GTA with those tips and that exhaust , but hopefully showin em off will encourage more use! I went to Zoro Discount Muffler at Stanfield and Dundas Rd in Mississauga, its one block west of Dixie beside Canadian Tire on the south side. You have to turn left onto Standfield but the sign is right there. As for dealerships, I go to Briar Wood Chevoret Oldsmobile, the previous owner of the car work there.....I've been very pleased, one of their Techs, his name is Paul, works on my car all the time....knows the Aurora very well, so does another gent named Randy Steven, they wont have the Aurora listed on the site, you just buy em and get em put on by a muffler shop, however the stock mufflers wont handle aftermarket tips....I dislike the stock exhaust on the classic Aurora

A while back folks contacted Corsa about buying just the tips from the STS system. IIRC, it was about $40 per side. They may or may not still do this as they probably don't make the kits anymore and thus wouldn't want to rob tips from one. But then maybe they'll churn out a few tips, I dunno. You can call them if you are interested: I like that the inside one sticks out further than the outside one.

Aurora40, your exhaust looks nothing short of amazing. Does Corsa still sell the STS system? Do you know of the modifications required to fit a Classic?

I don't know if they still make it or not - but I've just added a couple of pictures on the website that Greg Garnes sent me of his Corsa'd Classic. home.achilles.net/~howardm/aurora/aurora.phpThere's a link from the "under the hood" page.

Hey Howard, that's pretty sweet! I recall Greg talking about the changes done, but of course I don't remember as I don't have a classic. Good job preserving it! His car looks pretty sweet with the Corsa and 17"s and black paint. Kobalt, ^ that's what needs to be done for the classic. Greg's the expert, not me. For my car basically nothing was needed, but Corsa gave me a modified set of instructions about where to cut the initial exhaust off. Other than that they fit up perfect. Call them. They still have the STS system on their website, so I bet they still sell them. They make them in batches, though, so I bet when they are gone, they are gone for good.
