Hey all. I'm Brian from Florida and I also have an Aurora. I took delivery of a light blue metallic 1996 model last Tuesday from Scott Buick. I actually went in looking at a low-mileage '96 Roadmaster but came out with this because the Roadie was already sold. Now, I couldn't be happier that it was. Needless to say, I love the Olds more than I could've imagined. And at 62,000 miles, its in nearly like-new condition on the inside with only a few nicks and blemishes on the outside. Here's a picture from the dealer's site... I absolutely love the blue interior. Only a few minor problems. Oil was on the exterior of the oilpan, the CD player ate my disc and displayed an error message, and I'm not sure if the fuel rail recall was performed. I'm getting that taken care of tomorrow, though. Modification-wise, I don't plan much besides a K&N oil/air filter swap, switching to Synthetic MobilOne, and keeping her extra clean and detailed. As for myself, I'm a college sophomore and Private Pilot working on my ratings. I think this will make an excellent 'crew sedan' so to speak and last me for quite a while. Well, this club looks pretty neat and I'm glad to be apart of it now. Take care all! -Brian P.S. If you've ever been to www.CheersandGears.com (a GM entusiast site), you'll know me there also as FlyBrian. I'm the Pontiac Forum Moderator and a General Mod there.

Hi Fly! (pun intended) Welcome aboard! And nice ride I might say (and will). Silver looks so good in Aurora trim, a much nicer car than the Roadmaster. The Aurora really "flies" down the road. Best of luck with it.
Steven, why did you say his interior is "ugly ass"? Cool blue could be cool, even if sometimes bad is bad. Different strokes for different folks. (Can I come up with one more stupid cle-shay [sic] in this post?)

Welcome Brian! I too have the blue interior, but my 1995 has a white exterior. I've had it since it was new and it's been an excellent ride. I hope you enjoy your Aurora as much as I have mine. By the way, I bought mine in Florida too. Dan Burns Olds in Boca Raton. Enjoy.

Welcome to the boards Brian, Good luck with your Aurora, how many miles you got on it?
You got any pictures of the interior, like to see that blue interior, a lot of people around here have the light grey or light tan, or black, but I haven't seen too many light blues.
Get some pictures up soon.
Javi.

Hey Brian, welcome! I am thrilled to have another GM enthusiast (and possible expert?) in our little Aurora neighborhood. As much as I've tried, I've never been able to own anything other than a GM. JimW, Krazy Kyle, and myself are all also somewhat active members of BonnevilleClub.com (all former owners of Bonnys), so you're in good Pontiac company as well!

Welcome aboard FlyBoy! I too am a Newbie 8-)and I have the Love/Hate relationionship with GM. I saw pics somewhere, probably here, of the "ugly ass blue interior", perhaps it was miklar's? I think it was that one of the blues matches one of the blues in my kitchen that caught my eye. It is rather...loud but I like it. ;D I think you'll find this a great forum ;D! It can be very informative mixed with a healthy dose of good natured ribbbing. :-XDon't take everyone too serious and don't be afraid to ask what you don't know! :)PS: To All Members: ;D I promise to never, ever use so many smileys in one post ever again

I've never posted any pics (yet) of my Aurora. It's white with a blue interior, but definitely not "loud" or "ugly ass". It's deeper than a sky blue, but much lighter than a navy blue. Very classy, at least I think so. Mmmm..maybe this would be a good excuse to post a couple of pics?

Mmmm..maybe this would be a good excuse to post a couple of pics? You don't need an excuse - we love pictures of Auroras - especially if they're not one of the usual colors.

Welcome aboard flyBrain, In case I forget to mention, I'm putting together a Custom Indiglo Gauges pre-order for the Classic Aurora. You can find more detailed information at the website below. www.speedhut.com/15orders_el_detail.asp?auto_number=75&bhcp=1No one else in the web or internet has them available, so we in the pre-order would be the very first people to own a set of these gauges. Thanks, Javi.

I figured I'd updated my old intro thread with some fancy shots taken over the past year and few months of ownership This was the result of a rather frightning accident with a '91 Mustang Up to around 89,500 on the clock now.
