Hey Everyone!! I'm a new Aurora owner ('03 loaded to the gills, Diamond White). What a sweet ride!! I have come over from a '97 SSEi with 320k's (200k miles) on her. It was time to retire my bonnie and I picked up a beaut of an Aurora with really low mileage for a not bad deal. So if you see a 2nd gen pearl white 'rora flying along in the west end, you know who it is.

Yeah, the *smartest* Bonneville Club members ended up buying Auroras, so here we are! But BC is a great forum, and not one I'd just up and leave because my Bonneville is gone. The club reminds me a lot of BC too, with the genuine "community" feel it has. Okay, I'm starting to sound a little too sappy... Welcome!

Hi BNICOV! Welcome to the mensa chapter of the Bonneville club. ;D So many Bonnie owners go on to Auroras and quite a few are considering Bonnevilles as replacements for their Auroras (while they last anyway). Are we all iconaclastic relics stuck on doomed platforms? Yeah, so what of it? Anyway, best of luck with your new ride and where the heck is Oakville.

Oakville Ontario was not included in your list...home to some of the most prestigious lakefront homes in the south eastern or "Golden Horseshoe" part of Ontario.

Cool. So I've been through Oakville, ON a number of times without knowing it. During the late 80's early 90's I traveled by car to Toronto quite a bit to liaison with one of my company's major customers who headquartered there. I remember some nice areas along the highway in that uniquely Canadian mix of urban and rural that you don't see much of in the US.
The Oakville’s listed were just a cut and paste from Mapquest to illustrate that a large number of possibilities existed. I thought there would be dozens and was surprised at only 10. BINCOV’s sounds like a really nice one.

Hey thanks for all the warm welcomes. Yeah, Oakville Ontario is a nice place to live however I live in the North end of Oakville, not the south end where all of the HUGE prestigious lakefront homes are. One day when I grow up, maybe I'll buy something down by the lake. It was a big move for me 2 1/2 years ago, I'm formerly from Scarborough (Scarberia to those of us from there), I used to live in the Bellamy-Eglinton area.
