Hi,
hockeydad33 here. i am a member but have been away for awhile since it was my kids car that got me interest in this sight. got busy at work and have not had much time to visit. pop in every now and then but it was spotty. guess what? I am now the proud owner of a 01 aurora with the 4.0 engine. pick it up saturday, traded my conversion van for it. color is saffire something, looks really dark green or something along that line, hard for me to tell because it was overcast. Hope to visit more often but hopefully not with problems. take care .

Hello old friend! Glad to see you saw the light (into the light children, follow the light). I went from a pickmeup truck to the Aurora, so somewhat like your move from conversion van. Fun driving something that turns now, eh? Best of luck with your new to you car.

Hey, erw38, how did you know I was old. Well 55 anyway. Now the family has an 18 year old with a 97 aurora and a 55 year old with a 01. Not bad, the wife seems a little jealous but you can't please them all. I had a 200 ford conversion van and she refused to drive it at all, now she wants to always drive my vehicle. Can't understand it. LOL

SSSHHHHH she might hear you. Don't know if I could afford another one. By the way the 200 ford should have been 2000 ford. Fingers just don't follow the mind when you get old and senile like my kid thinks I am

Welcome aboard hockeydad33,
That's an interesting color you got there, while I have always liked that Dark navy blue on the Classic Auroras, that dark blue you got there is sureis nice as well.
Just keep it clean, cause like my Jet Black Classic Aurora, with your dark blue Aurora you can still see the dirt pretty easily.

Another "family" Aurora, so to speak... cool. Welcome back! Is your son on the forums? If he's "into" his car like most 17yo's are, you'd think he would like a group like this... what with all those newfangled computeritized gizmos that the kids have nowadays. ;D
