I've found a 95 Black Aurora w/ 71,000 miles on it. everything is said to be working fine and from the pics it looks in great condition. they want $4,475 for it. does this sound like a good deal? also is the aurora really worth paying the expensive repair bills when something goes wrong? I'm looking in to buying one, but i don't know if i could afford the repair expenses if something does go wrong.

i've heard a lot of comments about the auroras being very costly to fix and having a lot of things go wrong with them. but things are always gonna go wrong with cars i just dont know if i would be able to afford it if something does happen.

mine has been pretty reliable. when i first got it i had to put a starter, coilpack, plugs and like 2 new plug wires. cost around 600$ and probably spent about 30$ is lightbulbs for it. id get it. they really are neat cars

Keep in mind what the Aurora is, a $40k luxury car, so stuff is going to be expensive. I just dropped $3350 for a transmission rebuild at 118k miles. Its just hit or miss. But this goes for any car, any make/model with this kind of year/mileage. Personally, I paid $4950 in Nov. 02 for my 95 with 87k miles. Mine was in decent shape, not great like you described so that should make up the difference.

That's very low mileage for a 95 - remember one thing about the reliability of the Auroras - the 95s are less reliable than the 96-99s.... That's a good price, though, so the money you're saving may just go into repairs and you'll break even or so But you'll love the car, and you'll make the repairs anyway, like all Aurora owners, they suck it up to enjoy their awesome car. So go for it!

Yep....thats a great deal considering the inside and outside is in pretty damn good shape like mine was -- I paid $4750 with 77k miles. I like how many 95's there are with only 70k miles range. good.

what type of gas does the 95 aurora call for? 87,89, or 93?

93 Premium. It will run on 89 or even 87 in a pinch, it's just that the knock sensor will retard timing, lowering performance. This is not a gas mileage car or an economical car to repair. If you really need an economical car with gas and repairs I would suggest Honda or Toyota.
Have you driven an Aurora? I would suggest driving one then see if you can live with something less.

Nothin like sitting in these leather seats though -- nothing like it. So damn comfortable.
