Howdy!
Umm... I'm guessing black on grey?
Wow those tires look meaty. Are they the BFG Tractions?

The interior is beige... I do plan on tinting the windows. The car has 74,000 miles and came with 4 brand new Traction T/A's. I plan on getting Edelbrock SDT mufflers.

How can I tell if I have an Autobahn?

How can I tell if I have an Autobahn? The easiest way is to look on the door for the tire specs. If they spec V rated tires, it's an Autobahn. The production codes in the trunk will also read QQX for the 3.71 final drive ratio. Or you can take it up over 108mph, if it goes higher, it's an Autobahn (non Autobahns are speed limited to 108).

the easiest way is to go down the free way full throttle and if you go past 110 you got it, lol

The label on the door frame is gone... I can see where it used to be. I don't see anything in the trunk either. The car currently has H rated tires. I might have to try Black Aurora's idea!

Nice....mine is black on tan and had 74000 on it when I bought mine. How is the handling on those T/A's? Will be needing new shoes for mine soon, and those have a nice, aggressive look.
Also, what is that other badge under the Aurora badge on your tailights? Mine originally was just badged Aurora, as most of them were.

I had H rated Goodyear Eagle RS-A's on my Impala and I like these T/A's a lot more... I like my Aurora a lot more!
The other badge says Oldsmobile. For some reason I thought it was only the 95's & 96's that didn't say Oldsmobile. I plan on taking off both of those badges and the one on the hood.

The label on the door frame is gone... I can see where it used to be. I don't see anything in the trunk either. The car currently has H rated tires. I might have to try Black Aurora's idea! Option two is totally kewl, and why not regardless, we only live once. But for the more conservative approach, just lift up the spare tire cover, the codes are under there. Here's the quote from one of our member's web site: "Another way is to read the RPO list which you'll find inside the trunk - (the exact location of the list depends on the year of the car, up to 1996 it was inside the trunk liner near the antenna, and on the 1997 and up it was on the inside of the spare tire cover.) The autobahn car will have a code of QQX for the V rated tires, and a code of FV4 for the final drive ratio of 3.71." www.howardm.net/dred98/autobahn.php

Good show. I did the same thing, bought the car with no idea that the autobahn option existed for Auroras. I had been looking for an Intrigue which also has an Autobahn option with higher final drive ratio, but it also came with the PCS traction control. Happy result for both of us.

Nice I have black with Tan. How many miles do you have? any troubles out of it? odd things? Push your Oil button three times. You will get an oil pressure guage. Could you tell me what your oil pressure is at idle after taking a 20 minute trip.

Could you tell me what your oil pressure is at idle after taking a 20 minute trip. We had a thread about that around here somewhere... everyone's average oil pressures at various engine temperatures/loads. Maybe that topic was at the now-extinct ACNA v2.

Letitroll98... I didn't really know much about the Autobahn package when I bought my car either. I'm pretty happy now that I know I have it. If I didn't I'd be jealous of everyone that did. I also have traction control.
gearhead... I haven't had any trouble, and it only has 74,000 miles! I'll try to remember to check the oil pressure for you.

I'm really surprised that I got an Autobahn... I never have that kind of luck. I think I got really lucky finding one with low miles too!
