I just thought I'd introduce myself here, I'm from Kansas City, Kansas (The Dotte!). I sport a 1995 Oldsmobile Aurora, green exterior with the grey cloth, soon being swapped for black leather compliments of an unfortunate driver and a highway wall, his loss my gain! Pics will be posted as soon as I can, so far its stock aside from a K&N filter, SilverStar high and low beams and the fog lamps, blue inner turn signals, 2 15" Super Blues (old skool) mated with a 1000 watt mono-block sub amp (alpine V-12 series w/digital readout) and the tunes are produced by a JVC full color interactive (non-touch screen) head-unit. Coming soon: 5% windows, 20" Assasins off of my Grand Prix, straight piping the exhaust but still exiting in the rear, and that should do me for now. Like I said I'll have pics as soon as I can!

Welcome to ACNA! Gray cloth in an Aurora? Never seen one like it. Could you post some pics?

Cool, can't wait to see some pics. Cloth was actually a no-charge factory option. I think you're in the rarest of rare (minus the Final 500) Auroras.

Welcome to the Club, I can honestly say I have never seen an Aurora with cloth interior, you gotta get some pictures up.

Welcome to the club! I have seen the cloth before, someone here posted a picture of a car on ebay I think, it had horrible blue cloth, hurt your eyes to look at. Can't blame you for wanting to change it. A "no-charge factory option," what a joke, more like a "value dropping downgrade."

The cloth is so rare because leather was standard and cloth was optional. But, since leather is usually found to make a car feel more expensive most people opted for the leather. it's nice to see something different though sometimes.

A "no-charge factory option," what a joke, more like a "value dropping downgrade." GM has a way with these things. Another example I remember is on the Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon is the tailgate is standard, but the "barn door" (the split doors) option gives you a $275 break on the MSRP.

Welcome, I agree, keep the cloth seats, they may make your car more valuable in the future if you keep it long enough.

Wasn't 95 the only year cloth was an option?

I'd kill for cloth in the Aurora. It's such a nice grade, too. I saw one for sale not too long ago with grey cloth. It looks like suede from pictures, and absolutely none of the interior ambience is lost. I'd definitely keep the cloth!
