Hey guys, I'll be getting my aurora tomorrow, Halloween day! I live near Cleveland, OH, and will be getting a 1997 Aurora with 38k mi. If any of you guys are from NE Ohio, I'td be sweet to meet and talk sometime. I turned sixteen in August and am getting rid of my 96 Camaro Z28 because I need a sweet car that can handle all the seasons for the long haul, so I found this sweet Aurora. My name is Shawn, I hope I can make some new friends here!

I'm in painesville, OH. I'd never give up a Z28 for an aurora, i'd just keep both, but being 16 and with gas and insurance....yea, i understand.

Sweet... Another Shawn!!! I think that makes three of us now. With that low mileage, your Aurora sounds like a cream puff. Definitely post some pics when you get the car. Welcome to the club ;D

WOOOW, a '97 with 38k is sweet indeed! What's the history on the car? If someone drove their Aurora that little in 8 years, it would seem that it was very well taken care of also. You are very lucky for 16, glad you found us! Make sure you chart your location on the "Frapper Map" (top thread of this Introductions forum).

Hey guys, tomorrow I'm leaving for VA for a school trip, but when I get back Friday night, it'll have new 17"s, as opposed to the stock painted wheels. I'll put some pictures up then for you guys. I'll be on that map thing in a matter of minutes. As far as the history of the car, it was just a one-owner lease car where I'm assuming the lessee just bought out the lease at the end of the term. haha after my first day of driving it, its really a far cry from the z28!

Welcome, I'm the other Shawn. Excellent that we all spell it correctly (I do however except Shaun, depending where that person is from).
I got my Aurora back when I was 17, but mine probably isn't in as nice of shape and I didn't have a Z28 before. Congrats!

Lucky you had a Z28...I cant say I would have given that up for an Aurora.
38k miles is extremely low as Im sure you can see. You are very fortunate as there are very few gems like this laying around. Most are owned by grandmas that go 1 or 2 places around the corner every week.

As far as... price...$8000 color... Haha I think same as in 95rora's sig my actual city...Parma, OH and planned mods... wheels/tires(done) rotors/pads(done, if you consider those "mods"), something with exhaust tips and/or mufflers (coming soon I hope!), nothing else I can think of right now but I'm sure my 16 year old male mind will come up with something else!

Welome aboard. 16, I think that qualifies you for the "youngest member" award. Congrats on the new ride, 38K is sweet for a 97.
