My Aurora wish list is actually very short. It consists of exactly one item that I wish that my 2001 4.0 had: This Corsa exhaust. Sadly, I can't get started on this project....I just can't bring myself to tear off the stock exhaust when there's nothing wrong with it. _________________ GM!!! BRING BACK OLDS!!!

JimW....I have heard the sound clip in Aurora40's sig. One of the most beautiful sounds I've ever heard! I have a feeling that one day I'll cave in on this and replace the stock system, good or not! ______________ GM!!! BRING BACK OLDS!!!

That is my dream too, but I'm afraid that it would not be as easy at the FPR. I don't have a lift in my garage either, so I guess I will have to dive to Aurora40;s house and have him put mine on. And then he can detail my car for me ;D I'm sure he wouldn't mind!

Hey erw, come on by! As long as you pitch in with the work it'll be fun! Detailing a car the size of an Aurora takes a lot out of you. About twice the work the Corvette was. The exhaust is pretty easy to do as long as you are comfortable with it. For the classic, I believe some modification is needed. I don't have cutting torches or anything, and cutting that high-quality stainless is a real bear. Marc, how about this, I bet the paint on your exhaust is peeling off. The black was peeling off my mufflers already and they had like 10k miles on them if that. If you don't get the Corsa soon, you may not be able to get them at all. The STS is gone, soon the Deville will be redesigned, and Corsa won't offer that system anymore. As it is, I don't think they've made them in a long time, they just have some stockpiled. The longer time passes, I'd bet the less likely they'll remember/want to modify just one exhaust to fit the Aurora. I'd bet they can still do it/still remember what they change. It's mainly just some shortening of stuff as the Aurora is a few inches shorter than a Seville. I think when Jim offered to do it, he thought he'd get about 5-10 people who wanted to, but it turned out only 2 people would pony up for it. I think time is ticking away for it.

See Marc, look how the paint is gone from the top of the mufflers. Yours might be similar. You'll never know until you cut them off and pull them out on the driveway!
