True story... I arrive at work last night, and a co-worker who is returning from vacation is back. He is just now seeing my Aurora for the first time, and says: "Yeah, I saw your new car out in the lot... what is that, an Alero?" DOH!

"Yeah, I saw your new car out in the lot... what is that, an Alero?" Well, at least he thought it was an Oldsmobile. I've had people say "You got a new car, an Intrepid eh?"

No one will think that when they hear it running, or get shown the taillights. ;D

They just haven't seen the Alero/Intrigue/Aurora side by side yet. God knows where that Intrepid comment came from...

They just haven't seen the Alero/Intrigue/Aurora side by side yet. God knows where that Intrepid comment came from... I think that I know the original source of the Intrepid remark. When Motorweek road tested the 2001 Aurora 4.0 back in April of 2000, John Davis, the host of that show, said something like "Oldsmobile's lineup for 2001 consists of the Alero, Intrepid, and Aurora". I still don't understand why the editors didn't catch that. _______________ GM!!! BRING BACK OLDS!!!
