i just thought it was too much fun yesterday building a box for a cheap $50 18" subwoofer for my friends dorm room. with it cranked almost full volume, we could feel the sub 6 floors down! and this is an all concrete building ;D oh yeah, it was only running on 100 watts rms, a very proud time when we have people coming up from two floors in both directions to see what was goin' on, but that was only to test, i don't think it'll ever get that loud again because i know its really annoying. plus it'll be moving down to my friends room once he finds something to power it with, in the mean time, it works very well for action movies. ;D, actually today we're goina put it in my car to see how it handles 1000 watts RMS, it says it can handle 2500 watts, i'm assuming peak, but not a big deal if we blow it.

Yep, a friend and I did wonders in high school... we enclosed a couple cheap 10" subs from Radio Shack, for their home stereo system. Sounded awesome with the right placement in the room!
