Its TOTALLY unreadable I wonder what prompted that site. I read the Policy wondering if it was pinched from here, doesnt appear to be. Oh well, if you wanna sign up there go for it. I prefer what we have here frankly. Or database and forum history is pretty solid.

update:
HOLY GOD, SOMEBODY STOP THEM.
THE COLOR SCHEME IS ENOUGH TO GIVE A NON-EPILEPTIC A GOOD, STRONG SEIZURE, AND PEOPLE THAT HAVE EYES CAN READ THAT TEXT JUST AS GOOD AS A BLIND MAN.
OMG SOMEONE STOP HIM.

We don't call them 1st Gen, we prefer to call them Classic. (Well, I do anyway) That's the worst collection of totally gross colors I've seen in a long while.

I think we should all mellow out a bit The guy 32vDOHCV8 is obviously trying to be helpful. I figger the ACNA will grow stronger and be here for many years to come. No body deserves to be capped Just my 2 cents CAN$ worth.

every post he made has been a great post.. until now. this community is fine, why break it up? Although i'm not on great terms with amanda, i still use these forums alot, 1. its kinda fun, 2. i like to try to help people every now and then and 3. i like to gain assistance on a board, where people can review the problem and use our trial and error to benefit themselves, and vise versa.
why would we break that up?

I think it is called freedom of speech Any way we have the choice to join his board or not If you are not on great terms with amanda maybe it's you that should smarten up and make the forum better for others.

ok..whoa, hang on a minute, back the bus up.
Does that site belong to 32V or did he FIND it?
If it belongs to him can I ask why that information cannot be posted here? What prompted a subsidiary that pertained to Classics only? Were feathers ruffled here at all without coming to Staff members first?
Now if its NOT his, then fine, however there are severe presentation issues.
And for the record, Its my perogative to delete posts that I believe do not contribute to the thread constructively. Thats my mandate and that will not change. That makes me and Amanda bad cop, then fine, I can be the bad cop. I have the job of maintaining this forum, contributing to this growing Club and promoting it. Now if someone has a problem with me being the boss around here, then now you have a choice it seems.
Either way, good luck to whomever got it rolled out.

First, and foremost the site is mine, second.. I plan to take nothing away from ACNA. I feel that based on my right to have my own forum...is my own decision. As I also said, I'll take constructive criticism's on the site design. I also think that there is nothing wrong with having a forum for 1st Gen...Classic.....early Production...whatever you call it. I am apologizing for any distemperment it has caused. I believe also the proper language filters are not filtered enough. Also why monopolize a Forum just because someone else had it first?

Most of the complaints concern the colors - the messages, at least on my computer, are shown black text on a black background. The only way I can read anything is to highlight it first. If you fix that kind of problem you may get some people joining up. Personally I don't see any need for a separate forum just for classics - but that's your choice. Update: I just used another computer to look at it and it's not black on black - it's black on dark gray and I still can't read it. I think it's a lost cause . . . . . . .

well deleteing posts is real real gay jim Ah yes, the old gay jokes again, older then dirt now Kev, but whatever, Policy stands. As for the other forums, yes feel free to start whatever you like, no one is stopping you at all. It just seemed odd based on the timing of this group and a general unknown reason to start a new forum. Usually on my other boards that I run, subsidiary clubs are formed for regional purposes, segregation leads to bad blood I find. But, enough out of me, good luck with it!

Wow, I got into this one late. 32, I think the issue some folks have with an additional forum is just that valuable information may be had at one forum but not make it to the other one, which can be frustrating. Many of us (myself included) don't have time to read ten forums a day, so we have to be selective and leave some off the list. Why not all "join forces" if we can, instead of splitting up people and information? A favorite quote of mine says that "one person's knowledge is EVERYONE's knowledge, provided we communicate." Hence the magic of well-designed, comprehensive internet forums. And for the general audience... internet forums are hardly a democracy. There is no right to free speech. Follow the rules of the forum (which you agreed to when you signed up) and I bet you'll have no problems.

Wow, I definitely joined this one late… I really have no problem if everyone decides to branch off and make their own page. But like others had mentioned it’s just too difficult to read a lot of forums in a day, that is the sole reason I created the ACNA in the first place 6 months ago, so Aurora Owners could have a place to congregate and chat. But who am I too stop others from designing pages and alternate forums. That’s not my place, my job is too make sure this forum runs smoothly (which has proved tougher then one may imagine) and that proper and truthful information is displayed here. If people have a problem with me for doing this, and as we now all know at least one person does, bring it up to me. I really don’t think I am that bad a person to approach with comments or ideas. Secondly if you have an idea for a section on the forum you would like to see then speak up I made this site for you Aurora Owners. Also, I don’t know how far it is to attack 32 from what I know of him is he is a good guy and a loyal Aurora Owner. He I’m sure just wants to experience running a site, He is always welcome here like everyone else. I sure hope this clears some things up Have a great day everyone.

maybe he should experience running a site with a proper color format, instead of one that epileptics cringe at.

Wow, apparently my post didn’t clear things up… really it’s unnecessary to continue harassing other members… He asked for constructive criticism, which a handful of people did contribute which is great but honestly from here on out I won’t tolerate any more bashing… anything further that’s not suitable will be deleted… thank you to all who understand!
Have a great afternoon…
