What? Little ol' me? You didn't hear nothin'. Actually, I really like the idea of having more female members. But with the facts that the Aurora is sort of a "male" car, (no disrespect, only that's is big and heavy and many women prefer smaller cars, or go all out the other way with full size SUV or Minivan) and that automotive BBS's natually attract more men than women, I think we'll be more of a men's club. That being said, the fact that our fearless leader is Amanda will hopefully recruit more of the distaff side to our ranks. Calling all females, Mars needs women!

hey appreciate all the nice compliments from the men... but hey, Letitroll...you really think the Aurora is a man's car? I, for one, as a woman who is way into cars, and going fast in them, think the Aurora is the perfect car for a woman who's really "into" cars...the best of everything...luxury, beauty, and PERFORMANCE. (dont you agree, Amanda??)..and I hope to be posting pics of the diamond white 97 soon ( working on equipment now)

Quote "Letitroll...you really think the Aurora is a man's car?" How did I know this would misinterpreted? Of course we love having you drive an Aurora, Rocket. I think it's a great car for anybody. My GF loves the car, thinks it's the best I've ever had. However I believe most women *prefer* a different type of car to drive. Not that women can't drive...I mean can't drive anything they want to. I simply feel that a majority of women gravitate toward either smaller cars that they feel more in control of, or largish SUVs where they can have a commanding view of the road. Look outside the window, that's what women drive. I don't think it's a macho or sexist viewpoint to note that women like to feel safe. And that they often pick cars that make them feel that way. I think more of them should pick Auroras, but they don't. I'm glad that you guys did 'cause it's great having you post on the board. Let me be clear, WE LIKE GIRLS. Please have more of them come to anywhere I'm at. I hope they're all driving Auroras.

This attraction between the Aurora and women is not a fluke - when my GF drove my Aurora she enjoyed it to the point of wanting to have one herself. Scary stuff guys

My wife loves the interior of our Aurora. She was more sold on the car than I was. I wanted to save some bucks on an Intrigue.
If I get a Corvette, she for sure will want the Aurora. I guess I got a new Aurora, so it's fitting she should get a new Aurora in the exact same shape it was in when I got it, just with a few more digits on the odometer.

I Know my mom loved my car and she didn't even drive it, she just rode in it, she was also considering buying one. and all the girls that have ridden in my car also love it.

Sadly enough (for me), my wife gets to drive our Aurora more than I do lately! She uses it to run around during the day, and "taxis" me to and from work. She is definitely a BIG fan, and I am sometimes a little scared at the evil look in her eye when she gets to punch the accelerator to pass or merge onto the freeway!
