My computer was running very badly recently. To make a long story short, I discovered a vast amount of spyware on it. I ran 2 programs www.spybot.com and www.lavasoft.com which removed most of that garbage. However, both programs say that there is some spyware that they can't remove. Some of that junk has names as such: C:\_Restore/temp/AO282132.CPY DSO Exploit How do I get rid of the remainder of this trash? ________________ GM!!! BRING BACK OLDS!!!

C:\_Restore/temp/AO282132.CPY As far as this file, just go in and delete it. It's just a copy. It should not harm your computer in any way. Go here to read about this I use Mozilla Firefox and love it. It even loads up pages faster. But its a fairly big download if you have dialup. So, consider yourself forewarned!

What omegaic said! Hijackthis! is a great utility to combat spyware/hijacking software. To capture a screenshot in windows just press and hold ALT - while holding, press PRINT SCREEN. Now go the START button, then PROGRAMS --> ACCESSORIES --> PAINT. Once there, go to the EDIT menu and select PASTE. You should end up with something like this: Save the image and post the screenshot on in this thread - this will help us determine the spyware left on your PC.

Or you could just use the "save log" button and copy/paste from the .txt file...
