Yep, so my car got egged this weekend– how fabulous… unfortunately while Joe and I were visiting a friend (and fellow Aurora owner) in CT. On the bright side, Joe was driving and whipped the car around and chased them into an apartment complex and pulled up right behind them so they couldn’t back up and leave. It was a car full of these punk little kids driving a beat up black v6 mustang – yeah whatever. Anyway we got their information after a lot of persuasion of threatening to call the police because they said that they didn’t throw the eggs their friends did in a different car and they did know where they went ( a likely story…) anyway I took down the kid’s plate number and Joe actually got the kid to give him his license to verify he wasn’t lying to him – he must have pissed his pants at this point… anyway when Joe felt he had terrorized them enough we got back in my car and left We did wash the car although I am actually still having difficulty getting the remainder off because some had gotten on the paint… grr… any ideas?

To be honest, I thought it said you got engaged ;D as for removal, maybe Bug and Tar remover? Worth a shot.

hey amanda, dont feel too bad, my Aurora got egged last night too.....got into the car this morning and looked up and noticed something on my sunroof (thought it was bird droppings) and realized there were eggshells in it. someone threw a single egg on top of my roof..thank goodness most of it was on the glass, so it came off rather easily....evidently, people are just jealous because we have such nice cars, they just have to act out with this immature vandalism

Bleah, that sucks!!!! From what I've heard, egg is pretty damaging, and not much can be done. You can try some polishes/cleaners and see what you can do, maybe some Scratch-X or similar product. But I imagine you'll only be able to improve, not correct it. I guess given your luck, there's a decent chance the car will get hit in that panel and you'll get it replaced and repainted...

There is a product on the market called Langka. It is for paint chip repair and scratch repair for clear coat accessories. I have not needed to use it so I don't know how good it is. www.langka.com/

aurora getting egged is bad enough but my dad had to leave his 120k benz out on mischief night because the garage door broke and it couldnt even be open by hand. and....of course....a egg landed on the trunk and splattered down the bumper. sad fucks

I try never to drive anywhere on Halloween. You can never tell what the brats are going to do. And I am also lucky enough to be able to park in a garage at night. __________________ GM!!! BRING BACK OLDS!!!
