Decided to remove that huge dealer badge off of my car today. What I saw after removing the badge I could not believe! There was ANOTHER dealer sticker under the big dealer emblem. Under THAT sticker was yet ANOTHER dealer sticker! 3 in all! Under the 1st sticker were a ton of scratches from where somebody tried to improperly remove the orginal sticker. it took me 10 minutes to remove it after heating it up with a blow drier. It's not like it was hard to remove. Looks like they had tried to remove it somewhat at one time and just gave up on it. Big dealer badge What I saw after removing the top badge, then the sticker under that trunk with no dealer badge. notice all the scratches in the paint.

Another reason why I have the dealership remove the badge, before the car leaves the lot. Then they would be responsible for that mess! When I bought my Aurora, they "forgot" to remove the only sticker on it... and it was for a *different* dealership than where I bought it! It peeled off easily enough though, and I was able to rub off the remaining adhesive with my thumb.

UGH!! Sorry Custom!
However, the scratches look better than the badge did... You can probably fix them about 90% or more.
When I ordered my car, I told the guy if they put a dealer badge on it, they will be keeping the car (removing one would not be acceptable). They just put a license-plate bracket on instead, which I was fine with. I don't know why dealers do that. A car, even used, is a very large monetary purchase. Slapping some crappy ad on it seems like a slight to the owner.
Edit: Hey, can't remember where you are from Custom. Is that Battle Creek, Michigan?

I live in Burlington but Battle creek is the nearest town that's actually on a map. lol.
