Wha's happenen? I was out of action for a while, but no new posts on a get together in the meantime. And, JW, the weather's improving. Anyone want a lesson on rear shock replacement? Maybe we could turn that exercise into a meet of sorts.

I agree, I also agree with your bbq offer I got together with John tonight, Ry couldnt make it til later. I'm certain the guys will want to get together to do the shock replacement. Thanks for the reminder, I need to find a place for us to do this. Then again, with the warmer temps, this can be done outside anywhere!

(too lazy to lookup part #) EDIT - got unlazy. Here are the part #s for various years. 01 ACDELCO Part # 3616531 {#88991051} GEAR,STRG (REMAN-RACK & PINION-POWER COMPLETE 99 ACDELCO Part # 3616531 {#88991051} GEAR,STRG (REMAN-RACK & PINION-POWER COMPLETE) 98 ACDELCO Part # 3616512 {#88991035} GEAR,STRG (REMAN-RACK & PINION-POWER COMPLETE 97 ACDELCO Part # 3616229 {#88990984} GEAR,STRG (REMAN-RACK & PINION-POWER COMPLETE) 96 ACDELCO Part # 3616229 {#88990984} GEAR,STRG (REMAN-RACK & PINION-POWER COMPLETE) 95 ACDELCO Part # 3616229 {#88990984} GEAR,STRG (REMAN-RACK & PINION-POWER COMPLETE) Looks like a R&P assembly from a '99 would fit my '01. Which one do you have?

Sorry guys, rims are the standard ones. But that reminds me, I have two brand new tires, never been on, and two more that were only on for a couple months. I'm in West Toronto, but the cars are in Burlington....

What brand / size of tires? thanks - I might be interested.

I would be interested - later in the day is better; my older boy has a Gym meet in the PM. Where are you meeting? I think I may need specific directions. Irocjohhny - are you in the automotive trade? I need to get my beast onto a diagnostic machine, and figure out what needs to be done to clear the check engine light. Either that, or a piece of black electrical tape to cover it

Sunday should be ok. Would be nice to have Ian there to figure out a day/time for the shock project.

We will be meeting at 8:00 at 403/Dundas Timmies more than likely So, QEW to Winston Churchill, North to Dundas, West to Timmies on Dundas? Is it east or west of the 403? Can I get onto the 403 directly from the QEW West bound; can't remember how that part of the world looks. Hope it works - would like to meet you guys for sure.

Its East of the 403, there are several plazas and big box stores. You can't miss the Tim's on the south side of Dundas, if you cross the 403, you'll be in a nearly rural part of East Oakville and you've gone to far.

Great. Management has given blessing, so see you there!! Cool, can't wait to meet. Go the way you described above, QEW west to Winston Churchill and go north, and then west to Timmies. OR you could go 403 west and then get off at Dundas and go east over the 403. whereabouts in Etobicoke are you?
