Dunno; can we race against each other? That would be informative, at least. Wouldn't mind a run just to see what it actually does without worring about Cam Wooley. What safety gear do we need, other than seat belts?

What safety gear do we need, other than seat belts? Generally you do not need anything other than long pants and a functional car. If you run 13.99 or lower, then you need to worry about additional requirements.

Yes this would be great if you could race against each other like maybe a Classic vs. a second gen or a modded 2nd gen ver a stock 2nd gen etc.

Awesome, finally Jim!!!! Awesome to have a 3.5 run too, Cen. Yea, you really don't need anything safety-wise, I've even been in sandals. Usually, if it's not ridicously packed they'll let you run together (esp. since they'll both Auroras). Just have the lead car tell the track official at the end of the staging lanes you two are together. Don't worry about losing, your going for your best time. Of the 20 passes or so my 95 saw, I remember only winning about 3.

Ian, I'd like to stop by one day this week and have a look at the ELC bypass, having a bit of a problem with the driver side rear, but anyway. I'll let Brad know that you're in. Chances are we'll be meeting up in Milton, then hoping on the 401 for the drive.
Anyone else from the area interested?

I guess you're the leader of the pack on this one ;D ;D

You can either stop at my place and we'll travel up. Are you still interested in racing, or just watching?

Excellent! There hasnt been much response at BonnevilleClub to this event, but it'll still be worth it to go.
If we go head to head, I'm leaning towards your lighter and nimbler 3.5 to cross the line before mine.

I re-arranged a bunch of stuff to free up Saturday night, and I can't put it all back together without p'ing off a bunch of folks. And me with 1/2 of tank of Sunoco 94 Hate to miss this, but I can't make it Friday. Good luck. Let me know if you still want to clean the throttle body; we could do it at lunch tomorrow.

Dang, that sucks... C-man, you would have been our first 3.5L racer! Well Jim, let us know how you do, and try to line up against that 2003 Mustang V6.

Well, are they still racing at St. Thomas on Saturday? Why can't we go it ourselves?
