I have some pretty nasty marks and discoloration on my headliner on the front passenger side Any suggestions for good cleaning products to get that off? I was thinking carpet cleaner for mats etc, but wanted to get your insights on that ;D

headliners are touchy, prone to sagging after being cleaned. A buddy of mine that details cars wonrt even do them. Have you checked that car detailing site, autopia I think.......Ill look and see what i can find

fabric or spot cleaner, but don't spray anything directly on it! Be very very careful. As mentioned, they can start to sag. How bad is it? If they don't come right off easily with very little rubbing, then you might have to weigh if you dislike them enough to possibly replace the headliner...

Euh..its not that bad..just the rest of the interior is really clean, and I wanted the headliner to be as clean. No big deal, not worth risking the integrity of the headliner. Unless that OxyClean idiot comes out with a better product for "hands free" cleaning

You'll know how the headliner feels. Does it seem like it's in the prime of its life and can handle a little cleaning? Or does it feel like it's weathered a lot of time and any touching will shorten its life? If you want to try to clean it, just be very very careful. Get some gentle fabric cleaner, spray it on a soft terry towel, and very gently dab at the spot. See if you can lessen/remove the stain without really rubbing the headliner or getting chemicals to soak into it. If they are light stains, you might have good luck. It's up to you, though. I'd try to clean light stains from my headliner...

honestly, i dont think that headliner will ever like, totally sag, the cars arent that old. not to mention if you run your A/C moisture in the air wont effect the adhesive as much, meaning you're in good shape.
my old car didnt have A/C, and the headliner sagged like crazy peanuts
