Well, I got around to testing out my new Leatherique Leather Restoration Kit. The results are absolutely incredible. I just did the rear seat (it's the easiest to fix if it gets messed up...) I will definately be finishing the car, hopefully tomorrow. Check it out: Before: Elbow grease! After:

Proven product! Thank you for another fabulous post!. Can you explain how you got the seat off. I have never tried and I want to have a look at my battery under the seat there

Thanks Jim! The seat is easy, just grab at the front of the seat about a foot from the edge and pull up. Do this on both sides and it pops right out. Putting it back is very easy as well, it just sorta fits right back in there, just press down on top of the catches and you'll feel it lock into place.

Sounds easy, unlike anything else of these highly advanced cars, I have found that driveway mechanics is hard...everything is under something!

Leatherique has 2 formulas, the Rejuvenator Oil which reconditions the leather by replacing essential oils and proteins and Prestine Clean which...cleans. As the rejuvenator works its way into the leather it displaces all kinds of crud like sweat and salt and body oils. The dirt rises to the surface of the leather which you then clean off with the Prestine Clean. The prestine clean is great, you can use it on almost any surface of the car. It restored my vinyl dash, my leather seats, and my rubber moldings and door seals. The kit I bought came with the 2 solutions as well as 2 terry applicator pads, a leather brush, and a microfiber cloth. Everything you need to restore your car 20 times for $40.00...can't beat it! ;D
