Hey guys and gals, I was putting up the sunvisor and the dreaded happened I accidentely put about a 1/4 inch of black in on the headliner---I don't want to smear it all around--this is going to be a one shot deal--either make it better or a whole lot worse---need suggestions...Thanks

Did you have a pen in your hand or something? Where did the ink come from?

Ammonia works very well for removing ink. Hopefully this is not permanent ink.

Ammonia works very well for removing ink. Hopefully this is not permanent ink. But won't ammonia leave a sick smell in the car for awhile? That stuff has a pretty stong odor.

I believe ammonia is a de-odorizer? The ammonia will dissipate and might even improve the interior's smell eventually!

i think club soda but it only works when the stain is fresh.

I had a black pen in my hand---(never again!!!) and I was moving the shade over to its stowed position and that's when it happened....great links I am going to with "fear and trembling" attempt to remove it tonight....thanks again
