The vynl on my A-pillar was coming loose on the driver's side so I just remove the A-pillar by pulling straight out on it. What happened was when the pillar was glued from teh factory, they missed about a 2-3" area that made the vynl eventually pull away from the plastic base of the pillar. Some superglue fixed the problem and the 'bubble' has gone away for the most part. There is still one spot that is still slightly bubbled because I didn't get glue right there apparently, but it is looking a lot better than it was before! Before: PIllar removed. Notice how it's pulling away quite a bit from the plastic backing of the pillar. Fixed A-pillar.. no more bubble! This fix took me a total of 10 minutes from start to finish to complete. . Hope this helps atleast someone.

Check for water leaks around the windshield, mine had a leak and that messed up the a-pillar moulding.

I hate to be the [potential] bearer of bad news but there's a good chance that the superglue will do more harm than good. I've seen people try to repair headliners with superglue and it works fine for a awhile until the fact the superglue does not bend, stretch or shrink comes into play and cause the upholstery to rip around the repair. You may be OK since it's a low-impact area unlike a headliner but I'd be careful and watch it closely. On the other hand, if worse comes to worse, an A-pillar is an easy and cheap piece of interior to re-upholster. Check the yellow pages, there's a lot of people out there that could have that done and looking like new within an hour or two. -N8
