Anyone have any pics of a GOLD classic that has any mods done to it? When i bought my car, it had really low mileage (86Km) but it was gold I looked to see if anything else was available, but the best i could find was a green classic with 140Km I am thinking about new wheels and a tinting, but from what I can visualize in my head.. NOTHING goes well with GOLD Any help or pics would be appreciated

its amazing what some skirts and wheels can do it looks good, not a big fan of the spoiler.. but still looks better than stock. So, I guess I go with CHROME wheels and try to find some body kits for my baby

a nice set of chrome wheels would make a 1976 dodge caravan look nice.

Dood! Gold Auroras are great lookin cars! Check out the Aurora Ads thread in Water Cooler...its great!
Give it a nice coat of wax, and it will look amazing. Tint your window, upgrade your rims and tires, add an exhaust with some quad tips and yer laffin! The best thing about a car that has a unique colour is it stands out more then most.

thats true, you can make any color look good, it just depends on how you compliment that color with the right wheel/tire combo, tint, etc.

Any car in gold color IMHO is the worst. Cant be seen as well in foggy weather, rain, etc...so many more wrecked cars that are gold.

I've heard that fact is true for white. Any BC member will be aware of the term The Curse of the White Bonneville....

Good Lord those tires are wide! They aren't the stock Second Gen size, are they? I've always thought the stockers on our '01 look a little anemic in width... Is there that much difference between the 6.5" on the Classic and the Second Gen's 7"?

I think that might have been when I first got the rims from a junkyard, when they had a set of 245 Eagles RSA's on there (I just threw them on for pictures that day)...I have since replaced them with the stock size 235 Dunlop Sport A2's. I think next time I get a set of tires, I may go back to the 245's though. As funny as it sounds, that 10mm difference was big.

I had a Champagne (Gold) Bonneville and it was a beautiful car. A good cleanup and wax and maybe some rims and tinting and it will look fantastic.

Man, gold is sharp! Take heart, your Aurora could be iridescent purple.
