Heh, thanks. Seems like a lot of the same folks from the various other Aurora boards, so sorry if you've seen all these photos already... Here's one more, though, 'cause I'm not that sorry...

Yea, there are some cross over members, but so far we are pretty exclusive to just Aurora owners, and damn that car is to clean....

I want your car. *drools.* that's what I'm talking about! I'd kill for that color again. lol. How long does an average wax job take you? I remember when I would wax/polish the Riviera I"d spend 6+ hours on it. I can almost spend an entire day detailing a car. I feel bad because I haven't yet given the Aurora that kind of lovin'. But I do have to say again, I've loving your Aurora Bob! Keep up the great work. I'm sure you will though. What's your mileage now? Looks to be under 40K still definately!

Thanks Dan. I do the detailing kind of in stages. It takes too long to do things. It takes me about 2 hours just to wash the thing! I'm careful but I guess I'm also slow. A polish and wax job takes me probably 4-6 hours or so? Depends on what I'm trying to accomplish, if I clay, etc. The car has about 30,000 miles on it. So another 70,000 miles before I throw it in the garbage...

I have to say I'm not a fan of the 17" non-chrome 2nd gen wheels.. do you like them? Have you ever considered changing them out to match the exhaust and the rest of the car? They just seem bland somehow

Nope, never consider it. I don't like chrome wheels. To me wheels should look functional. I love the aluminum look. Actually, I can't say I never considered it. I've thought about swapping wheels with my dad's car on one side just to see what it would look like. But I wouldn't take chromes in a free exchange. I prefer the look of aluminum.

Its funny because I do the same with my Aurora windows when I have them down. I put them at the same height so it looks clean.

LOL! I figured I was the only weirdo that did that. I do that most of the time unless I really need some airflow. It does look a lot cleaner in my opinion.

I've discovered I can get *awesome* airflow through the cabin with only the passenger side window down (when driving at fairly high speeds). The air blows in nicely from the backseat area, and keeps the wind gusts out of your face & eyes.
