Nice to see you posting Rodtice You maybe the only guy (that I've seen) online with the Razzi body kit. How does it hold up to road rash etc? Does it take a beating on sloped inclines etc?

Are the tail lights blacked out, or is that car just that blindingly white?

WOW, I'll echo Jim with a hearty welcome to you, rodtice! That kit is such an amazing addition to the Aurora. Were you able to order it painted, or did you have to have that done at a body shop?

the kit has been on the car 2 years now November. I haven't bottomed it out but I also have to avoid very steep inclines and have to take reasonable inclines at an angle this means no drive thru at my bank. Many drivers won't think these hassles are worth it. I like the kit and make sacrifices other wise yes you'd see it beat to crap. Its the Artic White color, factory tail lights. The kit is not painted when it comes. For those interested it was about $1100 for the kit plus painting and mounting. I bought my Aurora off Ebay after seeing the Razzi site and decided I was going to build one. Oldsmobile targeted the Aurora to drivers approx 42-58 yrs of age, being 31 I figure the kit lowers the target age. This isn't my daily driver, that helps out for keeping it in good condition. I've only driven 19xxx mi since I put it on, usually it sits in the garage and we use the car for long road trips and cruising of course . It chips/wears the same as the rest of the bumper, no more no less.

Welcome to the boards,
That Razzi bodykit looks dope. You should get bigger wheels though, to set off the car, like some 20's.
Other than that, did you do anything else to it?

20's? Not a chance. I've seen yours, I'll grant ya it looks good. I'll go 17's MAYBE 18's nothing bigger. I WON'T sacrafice the ride of this car to look good. Its not a NEON thank God, and I don't want to ride like one.

I got my Aurora for such a good deal, and I planned on the kit before buying the car so to me it wasn't a big deal. I just figured it as part of the car cost otherwise I wouldn't have an Aurora.
Get this, in Church one day the pastor brought it up while at the pulpit. No it wasn't an object lesson about the evils of money, he was just giving me a bad time because he's 50 and drives a TINY del sol and gets lots of crap.
The car turns heads everywhere I go, but especially mine.

No I haven't entered anything. I have thought about it, local group has a cruise night at a parking lot to sit at, no judging.
FWIW I almost put 17's on, wife wanted the 16's for the ride and I wanted to wear out the tires.
I still may go to a 17" same style wheel someday. Wife picked out those wheels and really likes them.

255/50/17 or 235/55/17 will work perfectly and maintain your stock tire height (critical!)

absolutely, I haven't found too many 255's but 235 are plentyful. Kumho has a Z-rated 255/50/ZR17 (with an awesome sidewall design), called the Ecsta KH11 (something like that) Check tirerack.com for prices.
