Man, that is one sweet note. ;D
My only reservation with upgraded exhaust/mufflers is that it could get to be too loud in the car... do you ever find that to be the case?

I was worried about that, but at idle you cant hear anything, and at 2500 RPM is sounds pretty damn nice. I posted some vids of the car on the roll a few weeks back, at WOT, various states of acceleration etc. Personally any guests in my car like the sound. And if it gets to bad...stereo

Dual Magnaflow F-body (3800 V6) stainless steel mufflers, widened pipes after the y split, quad stainless Ractive tips and an Autosound high flow cat. Oh and resonator...still on the car

I have been in Jim’s car and I didn’t even notice it… Although then again I am use to the loud pipes on the Mark which really aren’t super loud either… but a more distinct sound… I must say though when he [Jim] gets on it you can hear a nice sound from his rora.

Jim, what do you think is the most valuable part of this setup (as far as freeing the flow)? Would mufflers alone increase performance & efficiency, or just sound? I could probably afford that and I would like a little more sound... but I won't bother if wider pipes and a high flow car would also be required. What did your Magnaflows cost, out of your $1000 setup?

In order to put the mufflers on, some of the pipe that leads to the mufflers had to be redone. If you noticed, the stock pipes into the mufflers are very narrow. Once those came off, and the Maggers went on, I felt immediate gains. $1000 bux was with taxes and installation for the whole deal, you can get the mufflers for $150 each or so. Bear in mind, my tips cost over $100 each too But I love the look

Heheh, cool! We'll have to do a sound-off sometime when we meet up. Sorry for the late reply, I was on vacation.

Nope, no 'vette. I think I'd like to wait for one that was taken care of more in the way I care for my cars. I wouldn't pay within $10k of the asking price for that one, so I think I'm probably not the buyer he's looking for, just as it's not really the car I'm looking for. Yeah, I did notice the filming style was just like mine. You'll have to rip the sound clip out for a signature. The sound clips are a lot easier on folks with dialup, or if you host it on a site that only allows a certain amount of bandwidth.
