Well it happened again except this time I was in drive… I was leaving work on Monday evening and proceeding through a traffic light when the car (SUV) in front of me slammed on his brakes… while the light was green mind you, and I rear ended him… although luckily the police sided with me after getting the facts. Which is good because normally in MA if you rear end someone it's your fault... His car had no damage, but also his car had a tow ball that went right through my bumper and popping out the foam on the other side (pics will be up soon) So that’s my sad news for this week.
Another hit for my poor white warrior…

Sorry to hear that. In NJ it probably would have been your fault, but since its not get your Aurora fixed and send the guy's insurance the bill ;D

that sucks....also what sucks is how you pay 32,000 for a car (when its new) and it cant hold up to a 5mph bump. why cant it be like the old days where they were metal and you can plow into somebody and have only a scratch or minor ding

It would be her fault in NJ, she is responsible to maintain a safe following distance in the event that someone in front of her has to stop suddenly. Remember, nobody else on the road drives as well as you.

Yeah, I hear yeah… but who here really leaves a cars length distance between them and the car in front of them while waiting a traffic light? We all had previously been stopped at the light (keep in mind there were only 4 cars between me and the intersection so we all should have made it through w/o a problem) Oh well what can you do… I was in store for a new Aurora anyway but it’s just sad to see my car like that…

I actually do leave a cars length or more between me and the car infront of me at a stoplight. If I'm going to get rear ended, i don't want to become a total automotive sandwich
