let's take a poll...what is your favorite thing about your Aurora and if you could do it all over would you buy it again? ? i'll start...my favorite thing is the sheer beauty of the car and its luxury features, the fact that its got a strong V8 ( and its an american car and an oldsmobile)... YES, I definitely would buy it again in a minute..its been a great car

I love the actual design of the car, inside and out, It fits it's driver like a glove, The fact that it's a V8 American built car is a bonus! Yes, I would indeed purchase another one... or two... or fleet... LoL

There's two good reasons for my buying an Aurora. You can get the luxury with another car, and you can get the performance with another car, but it's the combination of those two things that makes the Aurora stand out. There's nothing like it.

I'm having a REALLY hard time finding a domestic car with the same caliber of interior. And the price cannot be beat. To boot, its the most unique full sized sedan of this era and it turns heads.
But my favourite feature...hrm, the headlights, I really like the teardrop shape, as well as my gold trim.

My 2001 4.0 turned out to be a much faster car than I thought it would be. Also, so far, it's had no electronics problems. (I was sort of intimidated by computers in cars....I had expected a lot of trouble with them. That's why I held onto the car I had before the Aurora, a 1972 Cutlass 442, for 29 years). Would I buy the Aurora all over again? Certainly!!!! __________________ GM!!! BRING BACK OLDS!!!

I like the compromise of the car. It is peppy, certainly fast enough, but gets decent mileage. It handles nicely, has good feedback, yet is very comfortable and a great highway cruiser. And the level of lux, power and cost are unbeatable. I'd definitely buy it again.

I would buy it again. Although I would have to opt for the extended warranty. I love the feeling that I get while driving. It wraps me in luxury ;D But there is definately a plus to having a SUV or a truck..... you just can't beat the feeling you get when you look down on that car in front of you.

It's unfortunate that so many people in my age group love spending thousands of dollars on rims for their rusted-out decade-old civics. They're really missing out on a great driving experience.
I'll take the Aurora's comfort and power over fart canons and carbon fiber hoods any day.

Letitroll98 - Groovin! omegaic - Dat civic b dope cuz it dun got tri-plane wing and stickun allumineum dash kit yo!!! Seriously the Aurora is a one-of-a-kind amazing sedan. Its amazing how nimble the car is with the shortstar motor. Super stiff chassis, great handling, comfort, accomodations and, room all while retaining great gas milage. But it's the Aurora's soul that would buy again in a heartbeat.

the sleek, classic design is my favorite and the fact that its 10 years old and STILL looks beautiful. Oh you cant forget that throaty V8 roar....i dont care about the gas mileage, thats the least of my worries. its a fun car all around and has many, many gizmos and gadgets for its' time. if i could go back and buy a new one, i certainly would.
Long live the classic Aurora!

I think it's all been said already, but I'll jump in. It's too bad the Pontiac Bonneville copyrighted "Luxury with Attitude" before the Aurora came along, because I would definitely say that term describes by Aurora! Heck, it took until the 2004 GXP to put a Northstar V-8 in a Bonneville, but the Aurora had it 9 years earlier! (Note: I'm not dogging Bonnys, since I still love 'em and might have another one someday. ) I have to agree with Jim on the Aurora interior... unmatched in my opinion, better than any car I've ever owned. Every option imaginable, all closely available at a fingertip's touch. There's also nothing that matches the growl and pure power of a V-8. I like having 16 cylinders between my 2 cars (even though I hate spending money on fuel). There's a paradox for you. ;D Of course I'll buy another one, if/when the right opportunity comes along!

I like my Aurora, because of the design that it went into it, a driver frendly interior, how the controls were desing to face the driver, I don't think I have seen any other automobile like that, I had an Intrigue and that was designed the same, so was the Alero.
When a buddy of my rides with me shotgun, I see them looking everywhere, wondering why are all the controls facing me, I have sat in my rear seats and noticed how different it looks, from back there, the same from the front passenger seat. with the Aurora, you just gotta love it.

Its the perfect combination of traditional and modern luxury. The layout is very inuitive not to mention high-tech. Feature content is incredible for what is a 1994 design and the back seats actually have real ashtrays with individual lighters! How many cars at the Aurora's pricing have that today?
As one of my friend's put it, "its the perfect executive sedan."
I couldn't agree more.

I also feel it was one of the first Sport Luxury vehicles...gotta love that, now they are a dime a dozen, and cost tens upon tens of thousands of dollars
