I just found this forum. Thought I'd show off my car a little. Notice the side marker lights have been painted to match the car: Flowmaster 40 series exhaust system, and spoiler from a 99 Eclipse. Orange turn signal lenses have been removed: Customized leather shift boot: Please let me knw what you think. I also have a K&N air intake system, 20% window tinting and a Jet Prerformance tuner. I can't really get a picture of that though, because it is mounted inside of my compartment where the cigarette lighter is.

your Aurora was one of the reasons why I bought one! I love it. Very nice car girl. Your aurora is the one with the Jet chip right? How do you like it?

That's awesome, thanks. Being the mother of 2 small kids, my car is my only sanity. The Jet chip is alright. It definately is much quicker to shift, and the RPM's go higher between shifts. Qicker reaction time. But there are a few annoyances that cause me to have it turned off, unless I'm in the mood to race. For instance, it causes the check engine light to always be on, when the unit is turned on. And every now and then is makes the electrical system go screwy...lights flicker when starting, wierd idle when starting, dumb messages coming over my DIM when there's nothing wrong. All that stuff (with the exception of the CEL) happens very rarely, and is over with before you even know what happened, but it still is annoying. Anyways, thanks for the comments. I am awaiting a settlement for my car accident in January. With that I hope to have a sunroof installed, and get a new paint job, which I already have designed. Probably not until next summer though.

Welcome 02aurora. And since you asked, I think your car is just absolutly smashing (Helo, I'm Tony Sinclair). But I'm confused. Does Dan know you from this board previously or from another board? (quote: "your Aurora was one of the reasons why I bought one! I love it.")

I'd scrap that "Jet Chip" ASAP. It's junk if it affects your car like that and will make for a lot of expensive repairs.

Yeah, I leave the Jet module turned off. I thhought about selling it, but don't want to bother with unhooking it. I'm a member of cardomain, and oldsmobileforums.com I'm more obsessed with my car than most men are. It's my baby. Thought I'd post some pictures from my accident in January. Bill was $10952. Head on collision each going about 40 miles an hour. She's come a long way since than.....my poor baby. I bought this car with 7000 miles on it. Just hit 40,000. Anyways, for thoes who haven't seen them on oldsmobileforums.com, here ya go. PS. custom88....I like the spoiler. What kind of car is it from?

Wow. considering the speed you were moving the Aurora held up considerably well! Thanks for the comment on the spoiler, it's actually a spoiler made by an aftermarket company for the Aurora. www.spoilers4less.com I think was the name? I like to think of it as the spoiler oldsmobile would have used if they put one on the Aurora.

Great looking Aurora, and I love the mods you've done! Very sleek and subtle. Plus we always love to see another Aurora chick in the house.

No offense but I would challenge you on loving your car more than most of the boys.
My wife couldn't understand why I was almost crying last night when I sold the 500.
