The silver paint is still in real good shape, but the paint on the black part is peeling quite a bit. I don't know why it was ever painted. I would have just left it the same as the black stuff on the sides at the bottom and then it could've just been armoraled or something. lol, haven't had any problems with the two peice sun shade. Yeah at first it's kind of hard to get the hang of folding it up but after a while it gets real easy. I think it fits a lot better then most of the traditional kind.

doesnt look like any body ive seen with an aurora has a good tint job on the back window.. Well mine has the tint covering the entire back window but it doesn't look that much better because of the dot-matrix thing going on. It usually bubbles off and requires constant maintenance. A lot of shops will just avoid this and not worry about you coming back in a week.

The dots make it impossible to properly tint..its the same with any car. Looks great Buc...nice to see older Classic Aurori in such good shape!

The tinting is really sharp!

When I bought it, the tinting had already been done, I would have probably got it a little darker, especially considering I live in the "Sunshine State."

Whats wrong with yours? Besides the smashed up hood. mines just not that silver looking, most of the time it looks almost like the gold color, i think i have to nano-wax it and all that. i'm still tryin' to find a place to tint my windows at a resonable price, the guy i had do two of them didn't do a very good job well, i guess also cause its hard to tint windows outside in florida, cause of the humidity and heat.

Yeah, maybe you should do the acid wash thing that's supposed to remove any built up layers of wax, then use some polishing compound and then put a couple coats of wax on.

The car looks great Bucsfan. The color goes well with all that FL stucco and white concrete look, very complimentary. Do you use an acrylic wax?
I like the two piece sunshields. My has a Vincent Van Gogh painting on it.

I use a polish called Astro Shield, it doesn't contain any wax. My family has used it for years. My grandma used to buy it by the case. Here is the web site: www.astropolish.com/

It will save your dashboard from getting destroyed by the sun and also your front seats.

Hmm maybe i should use a sunshade? Never though about it before. It would have saved your steering wheel too (if it wasn't too late).

I know..i thought about that. It was like that when i got the car. What a shame, cause if i had that car all that time i couldve garaged it like now. So should i get a sunshade? And how much did you pay for yours...
