I wouldnt mind washin a few other Auroras Hey Dan, its easy to take the money shots when you have a beautiful subject, any Classic or 2nd gen pic is a money shot Bob, that body of water behind the car is actually Lake Ontario. There is a waterfront park behind my work that also runs behind a new condo/townhouse dev'l in Port Credit where I work. Many years ago there was a factory called St. Lawrence Starch company. The plant closed about 15 years ago, and the area was essentially vacant. A local develloper came in and bought the land. He happens to be a family friend of ours...anyway, his company backed by the design done by his brother totally revitalized the area. Port Credit Village is now a landmark destination...its beautiful once again as it should be. Here are some links if you are interested. www.pbase.com/gwilburn/port_creditwww.portcreditvillage.com/

i think the gold on the white may stand out a little too much though On the contrary, I think White Diamond is the only color on which the Gold Trim Package actually looks good. That is, if you can keep it from fading, something for which gold-plated emblems are famous!

Thats why I just bought another set of gold badges ;D
I receive compliments almost daily about this car, and how good the gold on diamond white looks, most are intrigued by the lil blue, pink, red, a gold speckles in the paint when the sun hits it just the right way!

I bought a new gold badging kit off Ebay shortly after I bought the IRL model. It is most definitely the Aurora kit seeing it came with 1 hood emblem (nice!) 2 AURORA name emblem (arrived broken in the mail)..all the letters are attached (unlike the Classic where the letters are individual). and 2 4.0 badges I realize one goes beside the AURORA name on the back of the 2nd gen, but...they include 2 of each..which was nice.
I think it fits the car in that location on the classic, the font face matches, and its the gold kit...if I was to add anything, that I felt would be the best addition.

I'm not really a badge fan, I keep thinking about cutting off the "ZR-1" hood badges on my car. But those look nice. I just don't like to detail around badges... The sunset photos look great too!

I think it sits nice on there. I took my friend Melissa out for lunch today and she noticed them and was quite complimentary. Then we passed a 2nd gen 4.0 Aurora and she laughs.."soo thats where it came from! cool!" as she pointed to the back of the car. I looked a different locations before it was placed on the fender, one of the locations was the plastic piller between the front and rear window on the side of the car....however, on the passenger side that plastic piece bows out a bit (darn thing! ) and if I replace it...I'd lose my 4.0 badge.

looks good. most of the new (2006) GM's have the early-90's square GM badge (same on the 95's belts) about the same location and the far away shot reminded me of it.
