HU: Factory (I really like the steering wheel controls!) Doors: JBL Power Series 6 1/2" Components Rear: JBL Power Series 6x9's Amp: Eclipse 5532 5 ch. Eq: AudioControl LC6 Sub: Eclipse Aluminum 10" I couldnt be more happy with the way this sounds. I really enjoy hearing all of my music and I have never heard it sound so clear with these JBL's. It will be another week or so for the guys to finish my fiberglass box that will rest smoothly in the right side of the trunk. I will get more pics of the car when its clean!!

Perfect & Clean. I have friends with eclipse, mb quart and Infinity Kappa. These are right equal to MB's, are much richer and cleaner than Eclipse and cant even compair to the infinity. With the 10" sub this is system sounds perfect. This was the first time the shop installed these JBL's. They where shocked at how they preformed. Its JBL's second best line. I dont think that I would go any other direction when shopping for speakers again.

Very nice. i like the mounting of the amp. thats what i want is a custom look so my set-up doesnt take all my trunk space. but being me i wouldnt be satifisfied with just 1 ten. i have 2 12's and when i get it custom i might go three 10's or 3 12's or 2 15's. i have to feel the bass big time.

Nice setup. I think you'd truely be amazed at how much better your system would sound if you removed that stock headunit. The sound quality out of it is anything but great. (I know from experience.)
The JBL's are a nice choice but I would not say that they're better than Infinities.
Harmon/Kardon owns Infinity and JBL. Infinity is the more expensive "luxury" brand and the JBL's are more of the "affordable" audio. It'd be like the Aurora VS the Intrigue. They're both nice and owned by the same company but they're different in their purposes.

I know that the sound would be so much better with an aftermarket HU but untill I find one that will look like it belongs there. I cant stand the look of some aftermarket installs... As far as the JBL vs Infinity, just my opinion, infinity is nothing compaired too these. I decided to go only w/ one 10" is because I value sound quality over bass quantity...again just my opinion

Im not picking a fight here, just sticking up for my brand:
Infinity 6.1 6 1/2" Component System: $399.99 ---This is Infinity's #1
JBL Power Series 6 1/2" Component System: $424.95 --- This is JBL's #2
Sorry but you got me thinking with the JBL VS. Infinity stuff.
We could go back and forth all day. Im happy w/ JBL, your happy w/ Infinity, we are happy with good sounding rides...

Hey man -- nice. You got some pretty expensive stuff in there. Did you try ebay first or just buy brand new retail?
JBL's are more for bass (sorta what i need) but i got the Infinitys. They produce CLEAR mid-ranges and highs but JBLs have much more,, i guess you could say "guts" to them. I have no bass with inifinites.

I haven't heard a JBL speaker that compares with the Kappa Perfects I have in my front doors. I haven't heard every signle JBL speaker, either. The prices you gave seem to resemble the Reference series of components. The Kappas are the next line, then ultimately, the Kappa Perfect series is the top line for Infinity. The retail for the perfects is over $600. What we both have in common is that we both are into SQ. I only have an Infinity Basslink in the trunk for bass. It's enough for me. I don't like just bass in my music, just as you don't. Install's looking good so far. *Edit: I really don't mean to seem like I"m attacking you. I'm not trying to. Just having an audio discussion. You'r ethe only other person here who has really upgraded the audio in the 2nd gen aurora besides me. I'd like to also see some exterior pictures if you wouldn't mind sharing. If you want to check out one of my threads for my install, check herePioneer stereo in-dash:
